Origin: Nagaland, India
Flavour: Sweet and extremely hot, with woody / smokey undertones.
Background: This variety is closely related to the Dorset Naga, and almost as hot. Naga Morich means ‘snake or serpent Chilli’ perhaps due to it’s venomous bite. The pods ripen from green to yellow and finally to red.
